Three Questions for String Orchestra and Conductor

The three questions were as follow:
 
1.     Am I a ‘d’?
2.     Why?
3.     Baião?
 
The first takes the note ‘d’ on a journey of discovery and reinvention of its identity.
The second looks for meaning in random events of life.
The third summarizes all and celebrates life, though with an uncertain sense of my Brazilian nationality.

Composed in 2006 for the composition competition of the Camerata Zurich - Winner of the audience award of the competition - premiered by the Camerata Zurich conducted by Marc Kissoczy in 2006 with subsequent performances in 2007 & 2008 and FlimsKlang festival in Switzerland and Klever Musikreihe in Germany.
